I met Aron Burton in Zürich, Schwitzerland in 1986. I was on a concerttour with Champion Jack Dupree, and most of the nights, when we had finished the concerts, we was hanging out at the club where Aron was working. Aron heard my record "Blues For People" one night, and he liked the sound so much, that he decided to come up to Copenhagen to record. We did a gig at Mojo with the Kenn Lending Blues Band featuring Aron Burton, and the next day we recorded the whole LP "Usual Dangerous Guy”. The tracks are now available on the CD "Past, Present & Future". Since that we became friends, and we have worked together on many gigs in Germany, Denmark and Arons hometown Chicago. Check out Arons biography at All Music Guide.

The black&white photos I took in 1986 for PR purpose.

The next shot is from our recording session in 1986, at the Copehagen Sound Recording Studio. From left you see Jørgen Lang (harmonica), Aron Burton (bass & vocal), me (guitar), Frank Larsen (drums), Kjeld Lauritsen (organ), Svenni Svafnisson (bass) and sitting at the piano Champion Jack Dupree.

The last picture is from a gig we did together at "Mama Rosa" in Chicago 1992.
